Court Order of Protection Assistance in the St. Louis Region

Victim Advocates in the Court Order of Protection Assistance Program work in partnership with the St. Louis City and County Family Courts to assist petitioners who are going through the Order of Protection process. These advocates work on-site in the St. Louis City and St. Louis courthouse to ensure that abuse and domestic violence victims receive assistance when petitioning for Orders of Protection. In addition, these advocates work closely with our Legal Program and our Domestic Violence Advocates to provide court advocacy and assistance to St. Louis domestic violence victims.

The Court Order of Protection Assistance Program began in 1999 and these programs serve as resources for judges, Adult Abuse Clerks, other court personnel, and law enforcement.
